About

LimitGov is a publication dedicated to examining liberty, institutional power, and public accountability.

It focuses on how governments, bureaucracies, and cultural enforcement mechanisms expand beyond their original purpose, often quietly, often without resistance, and almost always without consent.

Rather than advocating for a political tribe, LimitGov applies consistent scrutiny to power itself. Authority is not presumed legitimate because of intent, popularity, or moral framing. It must justify its existence, its scope, and its consequences.

Free societies depend on limits, not promises. Speech must remain free, power must remain accountable, and institutions must withstand criticism to remain credible.

LimitGov exists to ask the questions institutions would prefer not to answer.
